As part of May University in Cairo’s (MUC) strategic vision for internationalization, the International Education Office proudly highlights its Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreement with the University of Calabria (UNICAL) — a distinguished public research university in Italy, renowned for its interdisciplinary academic approach, vibrant campus life, and strong international outlook. Located in the region of Calabria, UNICAL stands out as a leading institution in southern Europe, offering high-quality programs and hosting one of the most modern residential campuses in Italy.

Established under the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, the European Union’s flagship initiative for education, training, and youth mobility, this partnership provides MUC students and faculty with valuable opportunities for academic and cultural exchange in a diverse and dynamic learning environment.

Through this collaboration, MUC students can pursue a semester of study at UNICAL with full academic credit recognition, while faculty members benefit from short-term teaching mobilities that promote knowledge exchange and global cooperation. The partnership supports academic cooperation in key disciplines, including Business, Information & Communication Technology, Health Sciences, Architecture, and Social Sciences.
