As part of our unwavering commitment to expanding global engagement and enriching academic opportunities, May University in Cairo (MUC) is proud to announce the signing of a Joint Letter of Intent with the prestigious University of Tuscia in Italy. This important step marks the beginning of a strategic international partnership built on mutual respect, academic excellence, and shared institutional values.

The Letter of Intent was formally signed on July 11, 2025, in Belvedere Marittimo, Italy, by representatives of both universities. It outlines a clear roadmap for future cooperation while the two institutions work on finalizing a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to promote academic exchange, intercultural dialogue, and joint innovation—key pillars of MUC’s internationalization strategy.

🤝 Strategic Areas of Collaboration:

•  Student Mobility Programs: Semester and year-long exchange opportunities that offer students global exposure and academic enrichment.

• Faculty and Staff Exchanges: Teaching, training, and academic development across a wide range of disciplines.

• Collaborative Research: Joint research initiatives in areas of shared academic interest, fostering innovation and cross-border knowledge transfer.

• Development of Joint and Dual-Degree Programs: Establishing high-impact academic programs that grant recognized qualifications from both institutions in compatible fields of study.

In line with the Letter of Intent, both MUC and the University of Tuscia will appoint coordinators from their respective international offices to ensure smooth communication, alignment of goals, and strategic planning for the implementation of these initiatives.
