Welcome to the International Education Office at May University in Cairo (MUC). As Director of the International Education Office, it is my privilege to lead the university’s global engagement strategy and foster meaningful academic collaborations. Our office serves as the gateway for international partnerships, student and faculty exchange, joint research, and intercultural dialogue. We are committed to enhancing MUC’s presence on the global academic stage by cultivating long-term relationships with institutions that share our values of academic excellence, innovation, and inclusivity. Our mission is to provide MUC students and faculty with transformative international experiences that prepare them to succeed in a globally interconnected world. Through strategic alliances, we aim to broaden access to dual degree programs, international mobility opportunities, faculty development, and collaborative research projects that tackle global challenges. MUC proudly announces its participation in the Summer Peace University (SPU) — a prestigious international academic initiative hosted in the heart of southern Italy. Organized by the Calabrian Institute for International Policies (IsCaPI) in partnership with the Municipality of Belvedere Marittimo, the SPU brings together students, scholars, professionals, and changemakers from around the globe to build a new generation of leaders for peace, sustainability, and international cooperation.

How to Establish a Partnership
with MUC ?
At May University in Cairo (MUC), we welcome opportunities to build meaningful and sustainable academic collaborations with institutions, research centers, and organizations from around the world. The International Education Office (IEO) serves as the central point of contact for initiating and managing international partnerships.
We are particularly interested in partnerships that align with our mission and values in the following areas:

Steps to Establish a Partnership :

1- Initial Contact:
Reach out to the International Education Office via email at rania.mageed@muc.edu.eg with a brief overview of your institution and proposed area(s) of collaboration.
2- Exploratory Meeting:
Our team will arrange a virtual or in-person meeting to explore common interests, institutional goals, and the potential scope of cooperation.
3- Drafting a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) :
Upon mutual agreement, MUC will work with your institution to draft an MOU or relevant agreement outlining the partnership framework.
4- Review and Approval:
The proposed agreement will be reviewed by MUC’s academic and legal departments before formal approval and signature by both parties.
5- Implementation Plan:
Once the agreement is signed, a joint implementation plan will be developed, including timelines, responsibilities, and measurable outcomes.
