projects in the "Measurement Systems and Sensors"

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shetawy, The Dean of Engineering, and the dedicated supervision of Dr. Shahinaz Hossam, Coordinator of the Robotics Program, second-level student projects in the "Measurement Systems and Sensors" course were discussed.
The projects showcased innovation and the application of measurement concepts in robotics fields, including a river cleaning robot, an intelligent coffee roasting system, and an integrated aquaponic system.
These projects reflects the students' profound understanding and the importance of measurements in robotics design.

Empowering Women: MUC at “Science, She Says!

Dr. Rania A. Mageed, Director of MUC's International Education Office, represented MUC at the Italian Embassy's "Science, She Says!" event, promoting women in STEM. The event, held at the Italian Cultural Institute, focused on food, energy, and water, and featured diverse speakers. MUC thanks the Italian Embassy for the invitation and is committed to empowering women in education.

University Leaders Recognize Engineering Excellence, Faculty, and Students

May University, led by Minister Al-Rafei, Dean Shtiwi, and Vice Dean Younis, celebrated outstanding achievements in engineering. Honorees included Dr. Matrin Mohamed (Architecture), certified by SAVE International; Dr. Shahinaz Hossam (Robotics), certified in project management (IAO, ISO-21001); a team led by Dr. Renad Afifi, awarded by the Farouk Hosny Foundation; Teaching Assistant Mohamed Reda Ali, for his Q1 publication and Elsevier review; and Eng. Hajar Ismail, for her multiple book chapters with Elsevier and Springer Nature. The university congratulates all honorees.

The art exhibition organized by the May University Student Union, in collaboration with the Student Activities Department, was launched today under the patronage of Professor Moheb Al-Rafei, the university president. The exhibition witnessed a large turnout of students from various faculties.

As art is always the language of creativity and excellence, students showcased exceptional talents in a day filled with artistic and creative activities.

This comes within the framework of the university's keenness to encourage talented students, give them an opportunity to enhance creativity, and provide a platform to display their work.
