"Resistance training in the management of musculoskeletal disorders"

As part of the Faculty of Physical Therapy’s efforts at May University to enhance practical skills, the Continuing Education Committee organized a workshop titled “Resistance Training in the Management of Musculoskeletal Disorders.”


The workshop aimed to raise students’ awareness of the importance of therapeutic exercises and highlight recent methods and research in managing musculoskeletal disorders.

"Italian Delegation during their visit to MUC University"

The Faculty of Physical Therapy at May University played a leading role in Day One of the MUC Euro-Mediterranean Forum, organized and moderated by Dr. Rania Abdel Mageed.


During the academic exchange session, Prof. Hala Ezz El-Din, Dean of the Faculty, highlighted key opportunities for student mobility, clinical collaboration, and joint initiatives with Italian partners—reinforcing the faculty’s commitment to international cooperation and advancing rehabilitation education.


The Italian delegation also toured the Faculty’s Physical Therapy laboratories, where they viewed rehabilitation facilities and student training environments.


The forum underscored the Faculty of Physical Therapy’s vital role in strengthening Italian–Egyptian collaboration and shaping future healthcare innovation at MUC.

“Hands-on Training on Advanced AI Motion Analysis Technology”

May University’s Faculty of Physical Therapy held a hands-on workshop on advanced AI motion analysis technology. Under the supervision of the Dean, Prof. Hala Ezzeldeen, academic staff received practical training on the system’s components, motion pattern analysis in rehabilitation and surgical contexts, and real-case applications to ensure direct clinical impact. Training was delivered by Dr. Islam Assem and Eng. Michel Atta, reflecting the faculty’s commitment to advancing professional skills and integrating cutting-edge technology into modern physical therapy practice.
